Signing Up For An Account

Why should I sign up for the NEOMED Foundation Constituent Services Portal?

The NEOMED Foundation Constituent Services Portal allows users to support the future of health care more easily than ever before. From one, comprehensive account, users can:

  • Set their email preferences with the NEOMED Foundation
  • Update their personal information with the NEOMED Foundation
  • See their giving history
  • Make gifts and pay pledges
  • Register for NEOMED Foundation events

Do I need to have an account to do these things?

You do not need to have an account to make a gift or register for an event. However, if you want to manage your email preferences or see your giving history, you must register. Registering will also give you immediate access to any new features we roll out through the NEOMED Foundation Constituent Services Portal.

Is my information secure?

Yes. The NEOMED Foundation Constituent Services Portal is hosted by Blackbaud and boasts world-class information security measures that employ system monitoring twenty-four hours a day, every day of the year.

What about my credit card information?

Your credit card information is also secure, being handled by multiple PCI compliant systems.

Do you have a privacy policy?

Yes. You can view it here.

How do I sign up for an account?

Just go here, fill out the form and click 'submit'. Because we review submissions before we approve them, please give us one to two business days to make your account active.

 

Managing Your Email Preferences

How do I manage my email preferences?

Once you have an account, or if you already have one, just go here. Right now, our choices are pretty limited: you can either receive emails from us or not.

What if I want to receive some kinds of emails but not others?

You can email us by clicking here or call us at 330.325.6671. Just let us know what your preferences are and we'll do our best to meet them!

 

Your Giving History

How can I view my giving history?

Once you have an account, or if you already have one, just go here. When you're looking at your giving history, please keep in mind that gifts sent in through other organizations (like United Way) or by another person (like your spouse) might be on that organization's or person's record. We do our best to make sure these are 'soft credited', but sometimes we're not aware of the relationships.

What if I find an error on my giving history?

If you find an error on your giving history, plese contact us! You can email us by clicking here or call us at 330.325.6671.

 

Making a Gift

How can I make a gift?

Just go here for our general donation page. Also keep an eye out for special giving opportunities that may appear in the menu on the left of your screen.

Can I designate where my money goes?

Yes. In order to make sure you're money goes where you want it to go, we've provided a selection of funds on the general donation page. If you would like your gift to go to another purpose, please contact us and we'll do our best to meet your wishes. You can email us by clicking here or call us at 330.325.6671.

Can I make my gift in installments?

Yes. Just mark 'Pledge (installments)' next to 'Type of Gift'. Please note that there is a minimal installment amount.

Can I give anonymously?

Yes. Just mark 'I prefer to make this donation anonymously'.

Can I give special instructions or send a message with my gift?

Yes. Just put your message or instructions in the comment box.

What about matching gifts?

Many companies will match charitable gifts made by their employees. Check with your human resources office to see if your employer has a program to match gifts. If they do, please check 'My company will match my gifts' and fill out the company name. If your employer gives you paperwork that the Foundation needs to fill out, please send it to: NEOMED Foundation, 4209 SR 44, PO Box 95, Rootstown, OH 44272.

Can I give in honor or in memory of someone?

Yes. Just fill out the information under 'Tribute Information'.

 

Registering for an Event

How do I register for an event?

When there are events that have open registrations, they will appear in the menu on the left.

Can I see what events there are?

If the event your looking for isn't in the menu on the left, please check the event calendar.

What if I see my event on the calendar but not in the menu?

It's possible that the event hasn't had a registration page created yet. It's also possible that this is a Northeast Ohio Medical University event and not an event put on by the Alumni Association or the Foundation. Finally, it's possible that registration is not required for this event or that the event is closed. If you'd like us to help you find out which of these possibilities it is, you can email us by clicking here or call us at 330.325.6671.

 

Closing Your Account

I created a NEOMED Foundation Constituent Services Portal account but now I've decided that I don't want one. What do I do?

Email us by clicking here or call us at 330.325.6671. We'll work with you to close your account. Your information, however, will remain in our system, so you can reopen your account at any time simply by going through the registration process again.
